Description and Features[]
Fullmetal Alchemist Fullmetal Edition is a premium re-release of the original Fullmetal Alchemist Manga in the Kanzenban format. It is published by Viz Media and began publication in 2018. They are more expensive than the original volumes but offer bonus content and quality of life improvements. They have only released in USA, Canada and UK so far. The Fullmetal Edition Volumes prices are: $19.99 (US), $26.99 (CAN), £14.99(UK).
The Fullmetal Edition Volumes include:
- More chapters per volume.
- Hardback covers and larger page size.
- Higher quality paper.
- Improved translation, especially with names.
- New cover artwork on the front and back covers. This artwork is of a character in the series.
- Coloured pages. There is at least 1 coloured page in each volume, and also additional coloured artwork of the character who appears on the cover.
- Concept Sketches that give insight into how Arakawa designed the characters.
Note: The Fullmetal Editions do not include the some of the bonus chapters included in some original volumes.
