Characters in the Manga and both Anime

This list contains characters who appear in all three of the Fullmetal Alchemist manga, the 2003 anime adaptation, and the 2009 anime adaptation. In other words, these characters appear in every major adaptation (disregarding the live-action movies). It should also be noted that, while all characters here appear in all three series, any character may have their roles expanded, reduced, or changed completely between versions.
