After looking into character names so much, I found out that Hohenheim in particular has been given several full names, depending on where you look! I put more detail on his wiki page, but the quick of it:

-His manga & Brotherhood name is "Van Hohenheim"

-In the 2003 Anime, he's "Hohenheim of Light" or simply "Hohenheim", no "Van"

-The TCG made his name "Hohenheim Elric"

-The Japanese version of the game Dual Sympathy makes his name "Van Hohenheim Elric"

Depending on where you look, Hohenheim is either is his first name, middle name, or last name!

I personally think "Hohenheim of Light" sounds cool as a title but it doesn't really sound like a full name to me. I actually think, for as obscure as it is, "Van Hohenheim Elric" sounds really cool as his full name
